Black and white landscapes
Recently I have been playing around with black and white images of landscapes. Here are two that I am quite happy with...

Top image - don't like it. The sky is grey and featureless, and the snowy dunes don't hold me in themselves - not interesting enough. Sorry.
Bottom image - better, as it has the tower/lighthouse for interest, and the sky is certainly not featureless. However, the tower is small, too small to really be an anchor, and the sky is just a chocolate box fluffy sky. Some nice highlighting on the land, which helps, but its not a strong image in my mind. I've seem much better from you in the past. Bottom image has a good tonal range and contrast for mono.
