Snow, sand, surf and sky
This is a shot while on Sable Island in 2007shortly after a snow fall. What struck me was the nice patterning of the snow on the beach, and then there seemed to be layers: the snow, beach, surf and the sky. There wasn't much colour here so I tried black and white.
Agree - interesting pattern shot, but in need of contrast boosting (levels and curves). Also, the sky band is not v interesting, so may work better if trimmed a bit... Well seen image. Ivan

I think this would look better with more contrast.
