Just a quick note. Have you tried/aware of Google Reader? It allows you to keep track of new postings on blogs. I use it for CLight, my the blog (based in Word Press) and other geeky photo blogs. Plus, if you use iGoogle for your home page, you can add google reader so that when you start up your internet, you can immediately see whether new posts have been added. Rather useful. And rather geeky.

I tried Google Reader but although I'm a big Gmail fan, I couldn't get on with it.
I use a Firefox plugin called Sage for RSS feeds. The biggest problem with it is that it ties you to reading RSS on one machine, unlike Google Reader. But other than that it works well for me.
