Southwold Pier

Sorry it's been so long - been travelling loads and working like a dog. As a result have barely picked up a camera, but here is one I did manage to snap at Southwold pier at sunset in early October. Pretty miserable day but I tred to make the best of it.... 24mm f22 8 secs....

My God - a post from Adam. Better sit down here...!

Good image - strong moody sky, and I like the curve of the sand and sea, and the line of beach huts pointing to the pier (nicely on the horizontal third too). For me, this could do with some pepping up, perhaps with curves or with a mono conversion. Is there a better, tighter crop too (perhaps cropping off 3/4 up that first sweep of sea? I'll have a play and repost...Good effort, though.

Actually you make a good popint, the colours are not the same as the raw I coverted into this jpeg using LR2. Haven't seen this quite so bad b4. (using sRGB.) Any ideas why this might happen and how to correct for it.?
