My nephew Sam
Here is a pic of my nephew Sam. I like it a lot...just a quick post. I took this with my fixed 50mm 1.4 lens.

I like it too - nice relaxed feel to this picture, relaxed body shape too. Thoughtful looking, perhaps even slightly melancholy. I like the textured background - catches the light but not just a bland area of grey (shame about the little triangle of brown bottom left of the image). Nice natural light. If you posted a bigger image, we could see some of the technical aspects with the prime lens' narrow DoF. Well done Ivan
Kind of like it to... particularly as a quick post...the tone are nice and I agree about the contrasts in texture, but unfortuately it doesn'r really grab my interest and while I lkie the left sided compositon, the eyes being almost dead middle on the horizontal i find strangely uncomfortable. Sorry, just not my favourte from you....
