Wicken Fen
Something I did a while ago; blended image, one exposed for sunset, one for foreground. Tried to achieve a natural feel, although it was a good deal darker than this. I like the square format, and the foreground detail of the part-cut grasses, leading in the eye to the windmill.
This is not may favourite of Ivans' images. I find that there is a lot of foreground which does little for me, except for the grasses to the right which have a nice exposure. Having said that I do like the different hues of green and the fresh cut feel of the grass. That has a nice texture to it. The windmill I find is not enough of a windmill so leads the mind into a little guessing game. The sky is good and holds warmth. A good blend for sure...

Sounds like you like it quite a lot inspite of the opening statement! Thanks for your comments; I post this image as I think it's interesting...
