Silver wave

In the spirit of posting something different to one's usual style(e), let me know what you think of the above, kind of an abstract study of something (prize for saying what that "something" is). I know there are technical deficiencies (some blown highlights), but any "artistic" comments welcomed too.

Well, i like it. looks a bit like ice but past that, I haven't a clue. Really like the tones and particulry the texture but the 'lump' i do find a little distrubing (you did ask for arty type comments). I guess a more regular, less abrupt shape may work better for an abstact image, which I am guessing is what you were aiming for. Nice anyway.

At first I thought water and then ice. But it doesn't matter what it is I suppose. Unfortunately, it does little for me. But I praise you for reaching out for something different...

I think I'm becoming a fan of "oooh! what the $#&& is that?!?" photography. I really like this because I keep looking at it and seeing shapes and colours and stuff. A shame about the blown-out highlights, though.

My bet is that it's ice.

Oh hell, Ivan would have to post the answer while I was writing my comment!
