Peak Cottage

A quick post from me to get some feedback on.

Taken a couple of years ago in the Peak District. I liked the quality and direction of the light, and wanted to do a panoramic crop, using the line of the stone wall and road to lead to the cottage, bathed in late evening sun.

Comments welcomed.

Hi Ivan, First of all, nice shot. Strong lead in line and nice colours. If I was being hyper critical I'd say you took it at the wrong end of the day - the wall is in shaddow suggesting light is coming from leftish of the shot. Presuably morning light would be coming from the right of the shot? But probablly very harsh because I guess you were on a walk?

Very nice anyway.

Are you up for lunch anytime soon?

All the best

Adam

Hi Ivan,

I like this shot. I really like the quality of the light falling on the house and the green grass with blobs of white to add contrast. As for the wall, it creates a nice lead but does not distract the eye from the main focus, the house.

Very warm...
