Just a little something...
Well, not much to offer this week. Shot this while in St John's, Nfld during the summer. Its kind of fun with the plant pots and the broken pot and the various fun colours, typical of houses here. Lots of lines up and down.

I quite like this. Nice bold colours, and as you say lots of lines and shapes which work quite well together. Lots to look at. I like the composition with the door bottom left, and the stairs running up and out of the image. Pleasing to look at. I bet the full size, high res image is even better.
Only quibble - lighting is a bit flat, which is a shame as it slightly dulls the colours. Maybe perk it up a bit with levels/hue and saturation in PS?
Love it, you've captured a classic St John's scene there and set it up nicely. The broken flower pot reminds me of the shards of broken beer bottle that used to adorn the sidewalks around my house. Any more from St. John's?
Yes, I have lots from St John's. I just need to sort through them. At the start of the year I had never been before but always wanted to go. Then I got a contract from Fisheries and Oceans and ended up going over thrice, and went over again with Sue for a conference. I really enjoyed it. I could live there for a while for sure...reminded me a lot of Ireland.
