
River Cam, Grantchester Meadows, a few weeks back. Works better in mono than colour. False (PS) bokeh - does it work?

The fake bokeh doesn't look quite right. Why did you choose to do that? I do like the angles
I was trying to focus the eye on the foreground, but I agree, it's kind of false looking. Will post the original.

To me there is a lot of detail here. In the foreground, the pond with the veg and then the tree line and sky, albeit less so here. The false bokeh is very distracting and hurts my eye; perhaps because its false? I don't know. Would colour help the eye with the detail?
