Last year while sailing in Halifax I shot this picture as we sailed under the bridge. It was around 5pm. It works better in BW than colour. I like it.

The lines of the bridge and the crop work well for me in this image.
Cunningly, you've essentially captured the view from my office window, although probably from the other end of the bridge.
I am very cunning indeed...
I like the image too - great angle, a dynamic crop. Good in mono, perhaps a little more punch if possible? Minor grumble - the support tower bottom right looks a little close to the edge, which amplifies it's slight lean to the right.

Well you pick out the points that concerns me. The closeness of the tower to the edge is problematic and I have tried to straighten the tower but there is not enough leg room. Originally, the bridge was much darker so I have selectively modified the levels of the bridge but I do think it needs more.

Try creating a bit extra room on the rhs by creating more sky. Can do this via a variety of methods. Or Copy the support area, straighten it, and if any is lost, rebuild it from the layer you created from the copied section. Or a combination of the two methods; reconstruction post straightening and creating more sky.
