I guess logically the horse picture was also better - much better - than any of G's pictures too...was it not, in fact, from the same section that your two pictures were in?? Anyway, here's me rising to it, and I told myself I wouldn't...!!!!!
You're absolutely right, Ivan - it was from the people section. I'm not even close to comedy horse standard. I can't begin to aspire to such heights. But you... you're in comedy horse ballpark. That's a standard against which your photos should be measured. Every time you enter a photo, you need to think to yourself "But is this as good as comedy horse?"
A-ha! One of my images "Eskimo Girl" was in the People section too, and it didn't even get commended or anything. Therefore, by your own logic, I am even more removed from comedy horse ball park than you, since yours came closer than mine did. As for losing out to comedy horse, it's like comparing applies and oranges - different categories - so, scientifically speaking, no conclusion can be drawn. Is Van Gogh better than Constable? Is Scooby Doo better than K9? Can't say.
I wish we had a copy of that image, so we could share this thread more accurately. Your cartoon is funny, but we must try to get a copy so all can see it's unique effects...
