Bridge

With late afternoon autumn sun behind me and threatening clouds rolling in from the east, I think this week's post looks like a painting.

Nice. It certainly makes an impression when you first see it. The stormy clouds are great and really add to the image. The bridge is damn ugly but seems to work. I would discard the concrete shit at the bottom of the image, remove the pole at the far right, and perhaps try for a wider crop; wouldn't worry too much about losing a part of the bridge reflection since I think the image can deal with it. There is a delightful (indeed) purple hue in the photo. At first I thought it was throughout due to some weird colour temperature, but it looks like it is only in the water reflection and sky which is just wonderful! The light hits the bridge just right too bringing out the green which contrasts well with the autumn hues.

Well done chap.

I agree with D's comments totally. Very eye-catching image. It would be a shame to lose some of the reflection, but I too think it could take it. Perhaps post the modified image?

Really nice shot Colin, I agree with all the baove but, being fantastically picky, would like to see some of the leaves cloned out of the water as the distract from the beuitful millpond type luck. Great work. Adam
